Frequently Asked Questions About My Podcast Workshop
We understand you are going to have questions before you make a decision. That is why, with our experience we decided to list our most frequent questions for you.
The Oxford Dictionary defines a podcast as a noun meaning “a digital audio file made available on the internet for downloading to a computer or mobile device, typically available as a series, new installments of which can be received by subscribers automatically.”
Podcasting is the new media age’s radio or TV talk show, but with the gatekeepers of those broadcast industries removed. Podcasting is a very loosely formatted medium where it’s your show, your rules, your perspective. Your podcast could be you talking about whatever you wanted to share with the world.
My Podcast Workshop is an 8-week guided program that coaches you through the process of starting a podcast from idea to execution.

Podcasting and social media are the most accessible means of sharing your content, but a podcast is your brand, your product. Your social media is subject to that platform’s relevance. Starting a podcast ensures you are in the driver’s seat of your content creation journey.

Some successful podcasters earn money either through sponsorships, endorsements, grants, or employment opportunities. While that does happen, I encourage a more realistic and grounded mindset. The reality is that the podcast space is a very saturated medium. However, don’t let “everybody’s got a podcast” dissuade you. That’s all the more reason for you to have a podcast! Your voice should be among the others.
What My Podcast Workshop can do for you is fine-tune your ideas and create an actionable list of achievable goals and benchmarks so by the end of the course, you’re ready to launch your podcast with a name, logo, a clear vision, and your first six episodes planned out. The podcasters who earn a substantial amount of money through podcasting is a small percentage and not the norm. However, if you do have financial goals in starting a podcast, invest in making sure your podcast is as good as it can be before you launch.
Our course focuses on a comprehensive, step-by-step approach, combining expert guidance with practical tools to help you launch a successful podcast.
My Podcast Workshop’s program is divided into an 8-week course for several reasons. First, this program is personalized to your specific needs and customized to where you are in the podcasting process. My Podcast Workshop’s 60-Day Commitment is based on your working knowledge and understanding of what’s involved in podcasting as well as the time to select, order, deliver, and set up any equipment you might need to podcast. Some come into the program having already done some of the work while some come in needing all of the answers. Some may launch sooner than 60 Days. Some may hold off for a strategic launch date. My Podcast Workshop ensures that when you do launch, you’re ready.
Each structured weekly session is broken down into segments to ensure you come away with as much knowledge as possible. Following that session, you will be given an action plan and possibly some assignments to complete before the next session. This program is a commitment to your future audience and an investment in yourself.
You might not, to be honest. Some aspiring podcasters already know about the technology of recording, producing, and distribution of a podcast. My Podcast Workshop covers the basics of that, but more of the focus is put on you, the podcaster, and your podcast’s branding and content. Some potential podcasters already have a clear vision for who they are, what their podcast is going to be called, what it’s going to be about, how many episodes they’re going to record, how long those episodes are going to be, and…well…that list goes on and on. If you’re someone who has most of that figured out, then you don’t need My Podcast Workshop.
What My Podcast Workshop can do for you is provide you the essential tools you need to launch a podcast in 60 days and build a brand beyond that. From the idea to start podcasting through your launch, My Podcast Workshop supports, coaches, consults, and guides you through the journey of starting a podcast with confidence.
My Podcast Workshop’s full 8-Week Course will be priced competitively within the online course market. You’re investing in YOUR podcast!
If even podcasting for a hobby, most hobbies require some investment. Podcasting is similar. Like many hobbies, you can do it for free or low-investment. You can also invest in tech, recording space, and marketing. How much investment generally depends on how much help you need. If you can design your own logo, you might not need someone to do that, for example. My Podcast Workshop helps fill in a lot of those gaps.
